This hotel is located on a new area which is dubbed as China’s Wall Street. Taxis may not know this area well so you will need to have the hotel’s number so the driver can talk to a hotel staff. My visit to Beijing is usually business hence my choice to stay in this (almost) flawless hotel. Yes, it is slightly away from the nightlife and restaurant buzz (about 20 to 30minutes away by taxi) however, I like the feeling of coming home after a long day of meetings in the CBD area. Oh, food quality is not quite up to my taste unless I go their Italian restaurant, CEPE which is very good.
