I visited this hotel on a whim with my girlfriend last month, to escape the Australian Winter, and wow - what an experience. With only 80 rooms or so, it’s a boutique sytle property with a huge amount of charm.

By far the best thing about this hotel is its location, coupled with fantastic sea views from almost every room. The waves are literally only several meters from your balcony which looks directly up the beach. The rooms are very comfortable, and if the standard queen bed mattress is not to your liking, then the staff are happy to add another layer or two to increase its softness.

The grounds are not huge, but well planned, and their restaurant is right by the sand which is very romantic. Guests have the choice of sitting beside the pool just above the sandy beach, or sitting on the beach itself by hiring deck chairs from the friendly locals.

Rooms were serviced promptly and I’m pleased to say that staff always respected the ‘do not disturb’ signage.

As far as value for money is concerned, I have to award this property 5 stars. This, coupled with our use of a Phuket Privileges card on the Island (http://www.phuketsavings.com.au) made our holiday a huge success and very rewarding.
